2016年还是数据驱动的一年，主要是依赖大数据的算法与tensorflow的介绍。
2017年AutoML才开始流行。
2018年中就有Computational Photography在夜景拍摄照片和深度图的研究，同时还有很多数据集，如Open Images V4。
2019年的总结写的比较成熟了，也有很多应用，如Lookout ，Google Translate’s camera translation和Live Transcribe ；有学术研究，如 Activation Atlases， Partial Differential Equations等。
